Dynamic Listening
Dynamic Listening therapy is a powerful, effective program that combines Tomatis auditory stimulation with sensory integration play activities. Cutting-edge digital technology is used to implement individualized auditory stimulation programs while sensory activities are simultaneously conducted in small, socially-appropriate groups.

Dynamic Listening is the primary therapy used by Key to Me because of its ability to bring about profound improvements in

  • Auditory processing
  • Sensory processing
  • Language and Communication
  • Focus and Attention
  • Reading and Writing
  • Academic abilities
  • Social interest and ability
  • Behavior and Self-regulation
  • Balance, Coordination, and Motor Control
  • Fine and Gross Motor abilities

Interactive Metronome
Interactive Metronome is an individualized training program that incorporates motor control, bilateral coordination, and rhythm and timing to improve attention and focus, motor planning and sequencing. This simple yet effective program stimulates processing at the brainstem level by requiring an individual to coordinate bilateral movements with auditory timing cues.

Interactive Metronome is an individualized program used by Key to Me to improve

  • Attention and Concentration
  • Self-regulation
  • Motor skills and Coordination
  • Reading abilities
  • Language processing

Home-based Therapy and The Listening Program
Key to Me Therapy uses home-based listening programs for a variety of therapeutic purposes including augmentation and maintenance of Dynamic Listening gains, preparation for intensive auditory stimulation, treatment for mild auditory processing issues, and options for individuals whose circumstances make center-based treatment not possible. Each home-based program is designed and monitored by Key to Me Therapy. One of the home options we frequently use is The Listening Program.

The Listening Program
The basic building blocks of auditory processing are trained using the fundamentals of music—frequency, volume, and timing. The Listening Program’s psycho-acoustically modified music and patent-pending production techniques are designed to stimulate, or “exercise” the different functions of the auditory processing system. This enables the brain to better receive, process, store and utilize the valuable information received by our ears from our surroundings. Numerous studies worldwide, including research at the University of Sheffield, provide empirical evidence that substantiate The Listening Program’s efficacy.
